Just as Listing Agents sign formal listing agreements with sellers, Buyer’s Agents expect formal agreements, too. Like Listing Agreements, Buyer's Broker Agreements are typically bilateral, which spell out the rights and duties of both parties, the Buyer and the Agent. Because bilateral contracts are essentially a promise for a promise, if the Buyer’s Agents doesn't perform, Buyer’s have the right to fire the agent.

Little turns off buyers faster than an Agent from the Internet who e-mail a Buyer's Broker Agreement before meeting in person. It's common for Agents to expect a Buyer to sign a Buyer's Broker Agreement, but we know that Buyers need to feel comfortable with an Agent before signing and agreeing to work with them exclusively.

Tri County Residential Group knows that Buyers are leery when signing these agreements because they are concerned that the relationship might not work out, and that's understandable.   That is why we strongly believe in the Buyer Consultation.  We like to sit down over a cup of coffee and allow you to interview us to ease your uncertainty and we also interview our Buyers to analyze your needs, discuss expectations and educate you to the buying process.  Once we establish a working relationship, we sign a Buyer Commitment to you detailing what we will do to help you meet your real estate goals and we ask that you give us a 60-Day commitment at minimum to allow us the opportunity to perform. We take every precaution to relieve your anxiety prior to having you sign the Buyer – Broker Agreement.
